Anza sighed as a breeze blew by and blew some hair out of her face. She straightened up her slouch and closed her eyes. Anza had just finished a mission and was bored. All she had to do was to go to the academy and inspire the students to become good shinigami. This left her with a lot of free time to sit around and do nothing.

"You really should be doing something" a voice whispered into her ear. Anza glanced up and saw a gruff-looking boy with three claws in his knuckles. This was the spirit of her zanpaktou. "I've done everything Takashi asked of me. What do you want me to do Tsubasa?" Anza asked as she glanced away from him. Tsubasa growled a bit and crossed his arms.

"Go fight someone, just because you're bored doesn't mean I have to! I want to fight!" he yelled at her as she smiled. She was about to respond when she heard something behind her. She turned and was surprised to see someone behind her

drevin scratched the back of his head nervously when he surprised her
"sorry....didn't mean to scare you"
he smiled
"couldn't help but overhear this kid...bad habit really"
the second division captain messed up the spirit's hair
"i'd be more then happy to spar with you...i dont have anything else to do"

Tsubasa cocked an eyebrow as Drevin scratched his head. But as soon as he heard his words his ears perked up. Anza looked at him in surprise. "I'm not so sure-" I began when Tsubasa interjected.
"What a great idea! I've been itching to fight with a captain; and you have always peaked my interest" Tsubasa teased.

Anza brought her hand to her chest. "But Tsubasa, I'm not in the mood for fighting. I just want to relax" she told him as he crossed his arms. He closed his eyes and began to shake slightly. "Who cares what you want?! I want to fight and that's all that matters!" he yelled at her. Anza was taken back by his harshness and looked away. Tsubasa noticed his mistake and sighed. "Please?" he asked in his usual gruff voice as she looked at him. Anza sighed heavily. "Fine," she spoke as she stood up. She had on a dress from the human world that blew in the wind.

drevin smiled and drew his swords
"nothing too fancy...were not trying to kill each other"
he stepped into stance
"you can start.....maybe when we're done your zanpaktou will have a little more respect for you"

My eyes narrowed at his words as she drew her sword from the hilt on her back. She drew it and held it in her hands. "It's not that he doesn't respect me; its just that he loves to fight and I'm more of a mellow person" She explained. Tsubasa took the goggles from off his eyes and put it on his head. She sharpened his claws. Anza closed her eyes as the zanpaktou began to glow. She then lunged for Drevin as their swords clashed

drevin blocked her sword with his and then thrusts forward with his tanto
"i see....i know how you feel....so is your weapon's shikai really a hand to hand weapon like mine?"
in truth he wanted to be like his 'older sister' the former captain of his division and be a teacher to someone

Anza smirked as she stepped away from him. "Of course, only mine is better" she boasted as she repositioned her sword. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. "Dance, Tsubasa!" she yelled as her zanpaktou disappeared. As the smoke cleared her sword was gone. In its place stood three long and very sharp claws on Anza's knuckles. Her dress flowed in the wind as she had a determined look on her face.

"howl ashura..."
drevin's katana and tanto turn into a pair of gauntlets...each finger had a razor sharp claw at the end
"you won't touch me..."
he smiled
"good luck though"

Anza growled at his invitation. "Don't let your anger get the better of you" Ryou Tsubasa chastised her.Anza turned to her left and saw a girl in a pure white dress with no shoes. She has huge butterfly wings that went beyond her body. "Yes, I'm sorry"Anza nodded she took a breath and calmed down. Ryou Tsubasa smiled at her and patted her on the head. "That's my girl" she spoke and disappeared. Anza then turned her attention back to Drevin.

"You want a fight, then lets have a fight" Anza spoke as she put one of her hands on her claws. The claws disappeared and in their place was a butterfly. The butterfly landed on her finger. "Go get him" she instructed it as the butterfly gently took off and headed in the direction of Drevin

drevin watched what was going on
not wanting to risk anything he but up a telekinetic bubble around himself the pushed things away
he started to walk toward anza

Anza stared at him while he butterflies couldn't make it past the bubble. "Fine" Anza spoke as she smiled to herself. ""Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat! Bakudo #9 Geki!" Anza yelled

drevin was paralyzed by the kido but the bubble remained

Anza smiled at her perfect execution of the spell. She called her butterflies back to her. Her claws returned and in her hand appeared a couple of marbles. She tossed the marbles at the bubble as they exploded upon impact.
"I'm actually starting to enjoy myself" I spoke as Tsubasa chuckled. "You should let me play more often" he told me and I smiled

"you dont making captain falling for child's tricks
drevin released himself from the kido and used flash step to get away from the explosion
"we're sparing.....leave kido and your toys for a real fight...this is just for your weapon and what it can do"
he shrugged
"and you still wont hit me...i can see things before they happen and thus prepare"

"Then prepare for this" Anza growled as she called her butterflies to her. They appeared as claws again as spiritual pressure surrounded her. It swirled around her as she smiled to herself. "If you're so sure about things. tell me what's going to happen next?" Anza yelled as more power surrounded her
